There are numerous opportunities for contracting with EC/R. We currently have five prime contracts with the U.S. EPA that cover a wide variety of air pollution areas. These contracts include technical areas such as emissions estimation, control device evaluation, pollution prevention analysis, cost and environmental impacts assessment, and continuous emissions monitoring evaluation. They also include risk assessment, exposure assessment, ecological risk assessments, dispersion modeling, model development, uncertainty and variability analysis, community assessments, and coordination of peer review.
In addition to these technical areas, our contracts also cover numerous outreach activities such as guidance preparation, meeting planning, facilitation of workshops and other training, website development, preparation of implementation documents and other materials, and stakeholder engagement and facilitation. There are also areas related to rulemaking and program support such as response to public comments, public hearing coordination, docket preparation and maintenance, preparation of rulemaking packages, litigation support, permit program support, and compliance support. In addition, the scope of work of our contracts include computer software development, preparation of documentation and training materials, website design, and database design and maintenance.
Therefore, any task related to air pollution for which you may need assistance is likely to fit within the scope of work of one of our contracts. Call or contact Graham Fitzsimons (919-484-0222, extension 322 or fitzsimons.graham@ecrweb.com) to get more information about working with EC/R.
