Project Management Assistant. Position will assist Environmental Program Manager with project and contract management duties, including project tracking, preparation of monthly technical and financial progress reports, and subcontract management. Skills required include up to date working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software, attention to detail, and good organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with government regulations and contract requirements, including those for quality assurance and handling of confidential business information a plus. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus one to three years of relevant experience.
Senior-level engineer to lead major projects supporting the EPA and other government agencies. Must be able to plan and supervise technical analyses and draft and review technical documents supporting EPA regulatory and policy decisions. Knowledge of, and experience with, the federal regulatory process is important. Ideal candidate will have a B.S. or higher in chemical or environmental engineering and 10 or more years supporting EPA regulatory programs, specifically supporting EPA’s Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards. Familiarity with the chemical industry, and air pollution regulations affecting this industry, would also be beneficial.
Mid-level engineer/scientist to assist in developing air quality regulations and policy support for the EPA and other government agencies. Must be able to gather data, analyze information, make recommendations based on analyses, and write high quality documents with minimum supervision. Experience with combustion sources and greenhouse gases is desired. Qualified individual will have a B.S./B.A. or M.S/M.P.H. in science, engineering, policy, public health, or related field, a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong analytical and computer skills.
Junior level engineer/scientist to support data gathering and analyses for air pollution sources. Knowledge of combustion sources and greenhouse gases is desired. Qualified individual will have a B.S. in science or engineering, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong analytical and computer skills. Knowledge of emission inventories and air pollution dispersion models a plus.
